Professional wrestler Bobby Lashley originally made his WWE debut back in 2005, when he was twenty-nine years old. Lashley comes from a military background, so this was sometimes used for storylines during his original run with the company. Following his departure in late 2007/ early 2008, Lashley made an impact with Mixed Martial Arts. Prior to his leaving WWE in 2008, Lashley won the ECW Championship twice.

Ultimately, Lashley returned to #ImpactWrestling for a second time (2014–2018), and it’s an understatement when I say he was successful. Aside from becoming a four-time world champion with the company, Lashley was also a former X-Division and King of the Mountain Champion. So, besides his clear talent and charisma, what makes Lashley stand out from everyone else from a career stand-point?

Well, Lashley has become the only man to win the ECW, Impact, and WWE World Championships. More specifically, one of those titles is no longer available. Of course, others could still accomplish this given they had won the ECW World Title in the past. However, Lashley is the first to do this.

The formation of “The Hurt Business” in 2020 has been nothing less than brilliant. The group consists of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. Personally, this faction has been the best thing on #RAW for the better part of six months. Eight days following his United States Title loss (Lashley was not involved in the decision), Lashley won the title he should have claimed back in 2007. I must confess, I cried last night when Lashley won the title because he deserves it. Not only making history as I mentioned earlier in this article, but also a year of dominance on the Red Brand. Congratulations, this has been a long time coming!

Thank you,

Brandon
